more than
this.
Research, drafting, discovery and trial prep for solo practitioners and litigation boutiques. You bill at four hundred an hour. You should not be building your own privilege log at eleven at night.

How an
engagement runs
Three steps
Conflicts & NDA
You send the parties. We clear conflicts against our active matters and sign your confidentiality agreement before we see a single document.
Scope & quote
A written scope with a flat fee or a capped hourly estimate, plus a delivery date. No work begins until you approve it in writing.
Draft & hand off
You receive an editable draft with a source file, a citation list, and notes on every judgment call we made. You review, revise, and sign.
Scope of
practice
Hopkins Legal Support is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Services are provided exclusively to licensed attorneys and to the firms that employ them, as work product prepared at their direction and subject to their review.
We are stating this plainly because the attorneys who hire contract support look for it. Under both the Florida Bar rules and Arizona Supreme Court Rule 31, the supervising attorney remains responsible for all work product filed under their signature. Our workflow is built around that fact.
- Every deliverable is a draft for attorney review, never a final filing
- We do not accept engagements directly from consumers or pro se parties
- We do not select claims, advise on strategy, or set legal positions
- We do not appear, sign, file, or communicate with opposing counsel
- We do not set fees for, or share fees with, any client of the firm
- Conflicts are cleared and confidentiality agreements signed before intake

We will clear conflicts and send back a written scope with a fixed quote and a delivery date. If your deadline is inside 72 hours, email David@hopkinslaw.com directly.
